Boosted by Abenomics, first half (April-September) results of Japan's megabank groups solidly beat forecasts. But the full year numbers are not doubled the first half's results; they are substantially less. Lowball guidance may be setting up a jump in stock prices as the banks "beat the street." But even more likely are sagging stock prices as the boost provided from Abenomics turns out to be ephemeral, and worries grow about the future.
